New York State Economic Development Council Prospect Reconnect

The Challenge

The New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) had a database of previous lead meetings from the past three years and was looking to reconnect with the companies to get an update about the possible facility expansions to New York that had been discussed.

The Solution

NYSEDC hired Camoin Associates to reconnect and get updates from 60 companies that had been previously delivered. The project scope included outreach by a seasoned engagement professional to determine continued interest in dialog with the state.

Camoin Associates reported the results of each completed conversation with a company executive to the client. For executives with continued interest in New York and imminent expansion plans, a follow-up call was scheduled with NYSEDC staff and its allies that was hosted by Camoin Associates.

The Impact

Camoin Associates’ outreach resulted in a 15% reconnect rate with executives who remained interested in discussing the state of New York as a location potential for future expansion of their company’s footprint.
