Business Attraction Campaign in Southwest Virginia With ProspectEngage™

The Challenge

Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority (VCEDA), a regional economic development authority of seven counties and one city in southwestern Virginia, was seeking to leverage its website more effectively to generate more opportunities for business attraction and recruitment.

The Solution

Camoin Associates provided a cost-effective solution to generate potential prospect opportunities more effectively using our ProspectEngage™ platform. We developed a strategy to identify and convert website visitors who fell within VCEDA’s target sectors, such as Renewables, Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing, Data Centers, Wood Product Manufacturing, and Plastic Injection molding. We also developed a strategy to promote VCEDA’s marketing materials using LinkedIn-sponsored ads to drive more target industry traffic to their website.

The Impact

VCEDA saw an increase in its website visitors by potential prospects due to the marketing campaign and could understand its website traffic at a much deeper level than ever before. The ProspectEngage™ platform identified thousands of website visitors and Camoin Associates staff conducted outreach to hundreds of those potential prospects. We generated over a dozen prospect conferences for VCEDA, resulting in potential capital investment from manufacturing companies, renewables companies, and other target industry prospects.
