Montgomery County, NY sought to further understand its economic situation, emerging economic trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning amid the COVID pandemic and the ever-changing economic climate. Montgomery County wanted clear direction in the form of recommendations on the county’s industry clusters strategies to fine-tune business expansion and attraction through strategic actions and marketing campaigns.

The Solution

Camoin Associates was hired to design a business attraction blueprint with a prospecting campaign road map. The strategic planning process is a holistic approach to understanding Montgomery County’s key strengths and opportunities to identify targeted industries and a road map that identifies marketing tactics, priority levels, resources, and timeframes.

To inform business attraction efforts, Camoin utilized their business engagement service to track traffic on their website to generate intelligence and leads for business attraction. Together, Camoin Associates and Spiral designed marketing material for each targeted sector.
